About
The witches in Shakespeare's Macbeth would, I feel, have revelled in the asynchronous choral sound world, their spells bubbling with the cauldron's content, rising and falling in pitch and dynamics as the brew matures, and returning to a low rolling boil at the end, ready for some further witches' action. This single line with drone work can be sung by any group of singers.
