About
Rachel Le Rossignol's libretto is a modern interpretation of Aristophanes' "The Birds", set to music by Andrew Perkins. The themes covered in this comic Singspiel include the evils of corporate greed, media misinformation, corruption, war-mongering, depletion of the environment, pollution, deforestation, climate change, and the reestablishment of informed democracy, peace, and love.
In this version, the dialogue is replaced by narration (see full version here).
