Homage to a fau(w)n is a dance suite written especially for an ensemble of baroque period instruments (Baroque Flute, Recorder, Cornetto, Baroque Guitar, Baroque Violin, Baroque Cello, Bass Viol and Harpsichord). The title is a play on a faun, a fawn and to fawn, and refers specifically to a certain unnamed person or persons.
