About
This work sets one of New Zealand Poet Hone Tuwhare's best-known poems. It is a somewhat sensual description of the sounds and smells of rain. The setting is for unaccompanied choir and oboe, with the instrumental part often proceeding at a speed independent of the choir, and the use of rain-sticks and stones.
