About

Written in commemoration of the many children who have been the victims of war, this work was stimulated by the horrors of the conflict in Bosnia. It is an orchestral work featuring a solo cello and is loosely based on the nursery rhyme 'Ring-a-ring-a-roses' from which it takes its title.
