New Zealand’s preeminent composer Douglas Lilburn was himself a student when he wrote his Overture: Aotearoa. Described as a work of “unabashed optimism”, Lilburn noted that it had a “freshness and exhilaration”.
This revised version was adapted for study at NCEA Level 3.
