"This album evokes a period when the world was ushered into an era of regulated isolation. As a musician, I embraced this phase as an opportunity to refelect on artistic identity, the intimate connection with one's instrument, and a profound exploration of conceptual abstraction through musical storytelling. This experience motivated me to record a collection of short solo compositions for the cello spanning from a century ago to the present day. The program showcases diverse expressions from various continents.
